Coordinate family gifts without duplicate purchases
A group chat is useful for discussing gifts, but purchase decisions get buried. Give everyone one place to check before buying, while keeping the recipient out of purchase updates.
1. Choose a shared source of truth
Share a registry link with the people buying. Ask them to check it before ordering rather than relying on an old screenshot or a copied list.
2. Mark a gift when you commit to buying
In Gift Gift, buyers can mark gifts purchased from a public registry without creating an account. This helps the next person see what is still available.
3. Reuse ideas carefully
If you put the same Gift Gift item on several registries, its purchase state carries across those registries. Reuse the existing item rather than making separate copies of the same idea.
Will the recipient see what was purchased?
Gift Gift hides purchase details from the recipient during normal browsing. Recipients can choose Peek if they want to see purchase information.
